Travel Considerations

  • Weather: In the mountainous region of Cochamó, rain can occur at any time of year, so it is important to bring waterproof clothing and footwear.
  • Accessibility: Depending on the route, the journey may include sections of gravel roads or hiking trails. Be sure to check the road conditions thoroughly before setting out.
  • Responsible tourism: As this is a highly fragile natural environment, we recommend respecting the local flora and fauna, taking your trash with you when you leave, and following the instructions of the locals.
